A shocking turn of events after a deadly fire Thursday in Herkimer County. State Police had though that a father and son were victim of a deadly house fire Thursday in the Herkimer County Town of Russia.
The bodies of 40 year old James Huckabone and his 13 year old son Parker were found in the rubble. But now, troopers say it wasn't the fire that killed the father and son, it was a murder- suicide. Investigators say Parker Huckabone was killed by his father as he slept and then his father turned the gun on himself after intentionally setting the fire that gutted their home.
