Auburn Police are investigating an incident where one woman claims her phone data was stolen by a Verizon employee.
The victim called Auburn Police in January and claimed that an employee at the local Verizon store stole her personal data while she was a customer there. Nearly three months later, city police are still investigating the case, but the employee at the Verizon store no longer works there.
City police wouldn't say what type of digital information may have been stolen, but have a person of interest in the case and they're reviewing the digital evidence.
