An Oswego County teenager is behind bars on rape charges.
Sheriffs Deputies say 16 year old Matthew Ingersoll of Oswego has been charged with First Degree Rape and Endangering the Welfare of a Child after police say he engaged in sexual relations with a victim under the age of 17.
The sexual assault occurred in the Town of Scriba and Ingersoll is now being held in $15,000 bail with another court appearance scheduled on the 30th.
