Victim Of Syracuse Hit And Run Dies

A Syracuse teenager who was struck by a hit and run driver earlier this week has now died of injuries.17 year old Seth Collier had been on life support since the accident, but has now died of his injuries. 

Collier was struck by a car allegedly driven by a former investigator with the DA's office. 36 year old Peter Rauch has pleaded not guilty, but now, more serious charges may be lodged. Police say after Rauch struck the teen on North Salina Street, he fled the scene, leaving Collier unconscious on the sidewalk.

 The family of Collier has issued a brief statement saying "they thank our friends and family and many individuals who we never knew for their support and prayers."
