City Hall in Syracuse will begin a crackdown Thursday morning on cars that are blocking snowplows from clearing out side streets. Mayor Stephanie Miner says beginning at 9am, City Police will start ticketing and towing cars that are still in the way.
Miner says "we cannot allow entire neighborhoods to be blocked because of a few people who allow cars to block access for plows." The mayor says streets need to be cleared so people can get to work, school and medical appointments. City plow crews are now working around the clock to clear city streets after Tuesday's storm.
