Texting Threat Reported At Phoenix High School

The Phoenix School District has suspended a student for making a threat to commit violence.District officials say the school resource officer was contacted by Fulton Police about a threat of violence at the High School.

 They were told that the student sent disturbing text messages to another person and the police were contacted. The male student was brought into the school office and was questioned and then was suspended. Parents in the district got messages last night to inform them of the threat.

The superintendent is asking anyone with information about the incident to call the district at 695-1555.
