Syracuse Man Stabbed On City's North Side


On Wednesday March 8th, 2017 at approximately 7:02 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 3000 block of Grant Blvd. in regards to a fight call.  A caller to the 911 center reported that there was a large group of people fighting in the area, and that one person may have been injured.  Upon arrival, Officers located a 23 year old male who was suffering from a stab wound to his back as a result from the fight.  The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance personnel. At this time, the injury does not appear to be life threatening.  Officers and Detectives are currently investigating this incident, but there is no suspect information available at this time.
