An East Syracuse man has been arrested after cops say he was high on drugs and slammed into the side of a building on James Street. 46 year old Daniel Warner was behind the wheel and DeWitt Police Lt. Chase Bilodeau says they're checking out that building for structural damage.
Part of James Street was closed for several hours this morning because of the crash. Bilodeau says Warner could have killed someone because he crossed the center line of James Street and came very close to a bus stop there. No word on what type of drugs Warner was using and police are awaiting toxicology tests first.
