Some big changes at News Channel 9. Longtime news anchor Carrie Lazarus is leaving the anchor desk after more than 30 years on the evening news. Lazarus will expand her role in maintaining the “Extraordinary People and Places of Central New York” franchise and handle a new series called “The Conversation.” Christie Casciano will replace Lazarus on the evening news.
