Investigators have determined the cause of a fire over the weekend in Parish that killed two people.Sheriff's Deputies say the cause of the fire at the trailer home on Crim Road was electrical that occurred near the doorway of a bedroom which prevented the husband and wife from escaping.
49 year old Richard Nicholas and his 50 year old wife wife Verna died in the fire despite attempts by rescue personell at the scene to try and get inside the home.. They were pushed back by intense flames and smoke.
