Binghamton, N.Y. – Real ‘Fake News’ is plaguing Binghamton of all places.
There is not one, not two, but three, fake crime stories swirling on social media in the Southern Tier.
The stories are about two teenage girls who had overdosed on heroin in Binghamton, bodies found in an abandoned building after a satanic ritual was performed, and two Johnson City high school students stabbed at their house.
Law Enforcement Officials are reminding people to check the source of the news that they find on social media.
