Results for the study reviewing options for replacing I-81 through Syracuse aren't expected soon. Yesterday, the consultants hired to look at options to replace the highway said it will be at least six months before the study is complete. Governor Cuomo ordered the Department of Transportation to hire the consultants in January. The study costing $2-million dollars will look at whether to build a tunnel, a raised highway or another method.
