Rome Police Arrest Suspects in Gun Thefts

Two Oneida County residents have been nabbed by Rome Police after the thefts of some guns. Rome Police were called out to a residential burglary on West Dominick Street Saturday where the homeowner told police that two guns had been stolen from his apartment. The same day, police were able to track down the two suspects in the case. 

They're identified as 40 year old Linda Shepard of Rome and 23 year old Miles Stewart of Lee Center.Both have been charged with felony burglary and they're being held in the Oneida County Jail. Police say they recovered the stolen firearms.
