Syracuse Woman Accused Of Stealing Thousands In Quarters

A Syracuse woman has been nabbed after State Police say she stole more than 14 thousand dollars worth of quarters.37 year old Alisha Russell has been charged with Grand Larceny. Troopers say she was a leasing agent at an apartment complex in Clay where the theft took place. 

Cops say she stole 14 thousand dollars worth of quarters from laundry machines at the complex. That works out to about 56 thousand quarters. Russell had a key to the machines and collected money from the laundry rooms as part of her job. The thefts went on for about ten months.
