Syracuse Police Chief's Son May Avoid Felony

The son of the Syracuse police chief is being given the chance to avoid a felony for serious drug charges. Frank Fowler Jr. was arrested with six others in July for possession of crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana with intent to sell.  The younger Fowler is being offered 3 years of probation if he pleads guilty to misdemeanor possession.  It isn't known if the other suspects are being offered plea deals.
