Word today that Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner has been spending alot of taxpayer money to improve her image and set her agenda. 84 thousand dollars a year is being spent for a high priced consultant who only works ten hours a week and never sets foot in city hall. Onondaga County Republican Chairman Tom Dadey says this is a slap in the face to hardworking residents of the city.
The Chairman says the mayor should be concentrating on more pressing matters like the city's crumbling infrastructure, crime and homelessness. Dadey says the mayor should be using more than 200 thousand dollars in campaign donations she has for the image consultant rather than burden the taxpayers, The mayors office has been unavailable for comment.
