Amish Buggy Involved In Crash In Oneida County

Oneida County Sheriffs Deputies are investigating an accident involving an Amish buggy in the Town of Deerfield. Police say the buggy with four occupants was traveling down Forrest Street when the connection between the horse and the buggy snapped and the buggy went careening down a hill and slammed into a utility pole. 

21 year Menno Miller was injured in the crash. He suffered from leg and hip injuries but the three other occupants escaped any serious injury.The horse towing the buggy then became spooked and ran into the City of Utica where the horse was involved in another accident when it was hit by a car.
