The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office has identified the victims killed in the motor vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday January 24, 2017 at about 6:17 PM. on Trumansburg Road in the Town of Ulysses. Trevor M. Fuller age 26 of Newfield, New York was operating a 2001 Chrysler southbound on Trumansburg Road when the vehicle left the southbound lane and entered the northbound lane where Fuller's vehicle struck a 2011 Chevrolet traveling north on Trumansburg Road. Conor P. Greenwood age 25 of Ithaca, New York was a passenger in Fuller's vehicle. Both Fuller and Greenwood were pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the second vehicle who was alone sustained non life threatening injuries and was transported to a local medical center for treatment of unspecified injuries. The investigation into the cause of the motor vehicle crash is continuing by the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office. The New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit, Trumansburg Police Department, Trumansburg Fire Department, and Bangs Ambulance assisted at the scene.
