Brian Wilson of Clay was charged with Manslaughter in connection with the death of his infant daughter back in November. Detectives say Wilson brought his nine month old daughter to a Rochester hospital after the infant displayed signs of distress. An investigation revealed that Wilson caused his daughter’s injuries subsequently charging him with Reckless Assault of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Wilson’s daughter died from her injuries five days after being admitted to the hospital. The mother of the infant, Stephanie Heppler, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child based on the fact that she was aware that her daughter was in distress, waited a day before they sought medical attention and drove her to Rochester instead of bringing her to a local hospital.
