A threat has been made against the Jewish Community Center and local police aren't taking any chances.DeWitt Police and the sheriffs department fanned out at the Jewish center late this morning after a bomb threat was received at the center on Thompson Road. The threat was made through a phone call just before ten this morning.
Police searched the building top to bottom and the building was evacuated but no bomb was found and the center has since re-opened. A similar threat was made at a Jewish Center in Albany this morning and at other similar centers in other states.
