WSYR @ 100 Years of Broadcasting

iHeartMedia Syracuse celebrates the 100th anniversary of News Radio 570 WSYR. While WSYR was first licensed in 1926, the origin of its founding was September 15, 1922, which was the date WMAC was started. WMAC would later be merged with WSYR. We thank you for all your support and community insight.
