Uitca, N.Y. - Utica Police have solved their 7th homicide of the year.
On August 19th, Utica Police Department responded to the 700 block of Elizabeth St. near Hubbell St. for shots fired with a person injured. They found 17 year old Stefan Medina he was shot and killed.
Last night police arrested the person who shot and killed him, 18 year old Jorge Campos of Utica.
He is charged with the following:
- Manslaughter 1st, B Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, C Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Firearm, E Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, B Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, C Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, A Misdemeanor
