Syracuse University Delays The Spring Semester

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse University is delaying the start of the spring semester one week due to the spread of the omicron variant.

Classes will now start Monday, January 24.

Syracuse University has already mandated booster shots for students and staff for the spring semester. In his letter, the Chancellor says that boosters of the COVID-19 vaccine "will be critical to maintaining" a safe and healthy semester.
