Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh has released new details on the city's proposed sidewalk maintenance program.
The city would formally take responsibility for maintaining and replacing sidewalks starting later this year. Residents and business owners won't need to pay a fee for the program's first year, but fees will gradually increase over the course of five years.
