NY-22 Race Likely Won't Be Called Until 2021

A winner in the 22nd Congressional District may not be called until the new year.

State Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte ruled on a number of disputed ballots Monday. However, he said that Oneida County elections officials need another week to complete their recount. Over 75% of the district's challenged votes are based in Oneida County. The latest totals show Republican Claudia Tenney now leading Democratic incumbent Congressman Anthony Brindisi [brin-DIS-si] by 19 votes.
