Syracuse, N.Y. - One Syracuse Company is among the five finalists selected to take part in this year's Genius NY business accelerator at the Tech Garden.
Eget Liber is a Syracuse start-up that uses underwater drones to mitigate the life-cycle of blue green algae. They, and four other companies from as far away as the UK and Australia will move into The Tech Garden, in Syracuse, in January.
Genius NY is a competition where emerging tech companies compete for a total of three million dollars in direct investment awards from the State. The goal of the program is to continue stimulating the growth of the drone industry here in CNY. State economic planners want CNY to be a worldwide leader in drone technologies.
