Emergency dispatchers say people are hurt following a crash that backed up 690 heading into Syracuse from the western towns.
The crash about 7:50 a.m. shutdown the right and center lanes on I-690 eastbound at the West Street, West Genesee Street, Downtown exit. At its worse, the backup stretched all they way to Solvay.
The roads are back open. The extent of injuries are unclear.
