Syracuse, N.Y. - A tractor trailer crashed on Teall Ave. this afternoon, jackknifing and closing off the street, just south of the I-690.
That’s caused police to close Teall Ave and the exit ramp from I-690.
Closing the ramp has caused traffic to back up to on I-690 east from Teall Ave. to I-81. Traffic is slow or stop and go. That stretch of I-690 is also a construction zone .
It appears the truck also knocked down poles and wires when it crashed near the U.S. Post Office on Teall Ave.
