An Ohio man is recovering this morning after crashing his SUV on the Thruway causing a standstill.
The 29-year-old was driving through the construction zone just west of Exit 37 when he slammed into a cement barrier. The crash happened around 2:20 p.m. Sunday and left traffic sitting for about an hour.
Troopers say he was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and say it is possible that he suffered a medical event. Though, he was still ticketed.
