Skaneateles Chef Sentenced In Deadly Drunk Driving Crash

Flemming, N.Y. - A Skaneateles Chef who killed a 25-year-old Auburn man while driving drunk earlier this year is off to prison.

Steven Landon was driving at nearly three times the legal limit when he crossed into oncoming traffic on Route 34 in Flemming in March. He drove into the path of a car being driven by Travis Manwaring. Manwaring died at the scene. He had three passengers in the car who were also hurt.

Landon was sentenced to between 4 1/3 and 13 years in prison for vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault and aggravated D-W-I.
