Four Democrats Vying For AG Nomination

Albany, N.Y. - Four candidates are hoping they've done enough to convince voters they're the best candidate for state attorney general.

Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, New York City advocate Letitia James, law professor Zephyr Teachout and Leecia Eve are all looking to secure the Democratic nomination.  Recent data shows the race could be a very close one.

Whoever comes out on top faces Republican Keith Wofford on Election Day.

Former Attorney General Eric Schneiderman resigned in disgrace after four women had accused him of physically assaulting them. Deputy Attorney General Barbara Underwood was named the Attorney General by Gov. Cuomo but did not run for the position.
