Robert Neulander May Soon Be A Set Free

Syracuse, N.Y. - Bail has been set, again, for the man accused of killing his wife in their DeWitt mansion in 2012.

A judge set bail at one million dollars for Robert Neulander. He was convicted of killing his wife Leslie but that conviction was overturned on an appeal for juror misconduct.

If the once prominent doctor makes bail, he will need to wear a monitoring bracelet and he cannot leave Onondaga County without permission.

DA Bill Fitzpatrick says that his office is still considering appealing the appellate decision to the state's highest court before attempting a second murder trial. Neulander will be back in court on Oct. 9 for an update into whether or not the case will be heard. If the case is not going to be heard, then a new murder trial will be scheduled.
