Man Stabbed In The Head In Mexico

Mexico, N.Y. - An Oswego man is in jail after a stabbing another man in the head causing a lockout at the Mexico High School.

 Deputies say the stabbing happened just 2:45 p.m. Thursday outside the County's Department of Social Services. The police activity was close enough to the High School to trigger a lockout. Students were never in any danger and classes are resuming Friday as normal.

Steven Haynes was arrested for the attack. He is charged with several felonies including attempted murder and asssult.

He is being held in the Oswego County Jail without bail.
