Utica Man Arrested For Manslaughter

On May 18th, Utica Police Department and the Utica Fire Department responded to 608 William St. for a medical emergency. 

When they arrived they found a female identified as  49 year old Cheri Saupp. 

Suapp was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

An investigation into her death began.  Over the next several days, Investigators worked together with Forensic Pathologists, Crime Scene Unit Investigators to determine that Saupp death was a homicide. 

Saupp died as a result of injuries to her head.

On May 24, 2018, Brian Brewczywski, was arrested by investigators and charged with Manslaughter in the 1st Degree.
