Syracuse, N.Y. - It was a successful voting day for Central New York Schools.
Yesterday voters passed all of the school budgets, including the North Syracuse School Districts. Residents there are angry that they were not told sooner about a state imposed $20 million dollar fine for filing late paperwork. A tax increase in the budget 2018-2019 budget that was passed is not raising money to pay that fine.
All of Central New Yorks Districts were proposing increases that fell below the State Budget cap this year, and only needed a simple majority to pass.
