Syracuse, N.Y. - The best team in Miner League Hockey brought out the broom against the Syracuse Crunch.
The Toronto Marlies completed a four game sweep of the Crunch last night 2 to 1 at the War Memorial.
The Loss brings an end to hopes that the Crunch would hoist the elusive Calder Cup for the first time.
The Marlies won more games and scored more points than any other team in the AHL during the regular season.
