Plea Deal Given To Admitted Father's Day

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man is admitting to murdering a man last father's day.

22-year-old Kenric Platts admitted to shooting 21-year-old Khalil Howard seven times causing his death on June 18th on Richmond Avenue.  

Platts took a plea deal to serve 18-years to life in prison.  He faced up to 25 years to life in prison had he been convicted.
