New York State police are still investigating a one car crash that took the lives of 3 people.
The accident took place this morning on the west bound lanes of New York State Thruway between the Verona and Canastota exits.
Both west bound lanes were closed for some time to allow Helicopter medical services to land as well as allowing rescuers and investigators to continue working.
The names of those who died will not be released until family members have been notified.
The investigation is continuing and further information will be provided when released.
