Albany, N.Y. - The flu season keeps getting worse in Central New York.
The state department of health just released the newest numbers and there was a more than 50-percent jump in confirmed flu cases statewide from the week before. Central New York is still has the highest flu rates in the state. There has only been one pediatric flu related death in the state.
Experts say it's not too late to get a flu shot.
