Orange hand Ewing First Loss At Hoyas' Helm

Washington, D.C. - It took an extra five minutes but Jim Boeheim and the Orange were able to hand Patrick Ewing his first loss at the helm of the Hoyas.

Syracuse beat Georgetown 86 to 79 in Overtime on Saturday.

Tyus Battle put the Orange a head with a three at the start of overtime and the Orange led the rest of the game. He played the full 45 minutes and posted 29-points.  Oshae Brissett also played the full game and had 25-points.
