Seattle, WA - Former CNS basketball star Breanna Stewart says she was molested as a young girl.
Stewart disclosed the abuse to the Players Tribune where the WNBA All-Star says that a man molested her for two years beginning when she was 9-years-old. She says the abuse happened in the home of a relative where she stayed frequently. Stewart says she told her parents about the abuse and the man was arrested and confessed to his crimes, though she did not name her abuser.
Stewart says that she hopes in coming forward other girls being abused will be empowered to tell somebody.
