An Auburn man is behind bars after police say he repeatedly stabbed another man during an altercation overnight.
35 year old Joshua Hoeffner was stabbed in the head and the torso in the Town of Victory just before midnight. Police say he was attacked by 28 year old Nathan Fillingham. Cornelius says Hoeffner suffered from serious injuries and Fillingham has now been charged with First Degree Assault.
The victim has undergone emergency surgery at Crouse Hospital for a stab wound to his head.
