Syracuse Man Gets The Max On Attempted Murder Charges

A Syracuse man has been sentenced today after an attempted murder that occurred over basketball game at the Jamesville Correctional Facility. 

Keith Escobar has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after the incident two years ago. Escobar and the victim were lodged in the Jamesville Pen when they were involved in a dispute during a jailhouse basketball game. Escobar was later released and spotted the victim in December of 2015.

That's when he pulled out a gun and fired 13 shots into the victims car. The victim was hit in the spinal cord and he was left paralyzed. The jury convicted Escobar on Attempted Murder charges and Assault.
