Plattsburgh Man Nabbed On Arson Charges After Wedding Plans Fall Through

A Plattsburgh man is behind bars after his wedding plans fell through and he decided to resort to arson. 35 year old Jimmy Williams has been charged with eight counts of arson after Plattsburgh Police say he set fire to eight cars in the city earlier this month.

Investigators say the arsons occurred after Williams went into a rage after his wedding plans fell through at the last minute, and cops say Williams had been drinking. Police say he used a hand-held lighter or a candle to set the cars on fire. Police say security video at the scene led to his arrest.
