Clay, N.Y. - No one is injured after an elderly man drove through a Clay apartment.
Onondaga County Sherriff's deputies say a 78-year-old James Moniz accidentally hit the gas when he meant to hit the brake, parking at the Morgan Square Senior Apartments yesterday. The car reportedly jumped a curb and smashed through a sliding glass door eventually stopping in the living room.
The resident of the apartment was sitting just outside the unit when this all took place. He wasn't hurt and is now staying with family members.
No tickets have been written in the incident.
