Albany, NY â State police are cracking down on lead foot drivers as part of "Speed Week."
Governor Cuomo says through June 13th, troopers will be using both marked and undercover cars to curb speeding and aggressive drivers. Cuomo noted that speeding is listed as a factor in nearly one third of all fatal crashes in New York.
He says last summer's speed week resulted in more than 20-thousand tickets.
