A frightening situation yesterday for a little old lady in Ithaca after she left Easter Sunday services.
Ithaca Police say a 88 year old woman had her purse stolen Sunday while walking home from Easter services. Police say a heavy-set black woman came up from behind her and shoved the elderly victim to the ground and ran off with her purse.
She hopped into a nearby getaway car where a black man drove away. The elderly victim wasn't physically hurt in the robbery, but police say she was certainly shaken up.
