Syracuse, N.Y. - A Student teacher from several local school districts is behind bars after State Police say he was busted for child pornography.
State Police are accusing 29-year-old Jared Basko of sharing sexually explicit digital images of children under the age of 10 on the internet.
Basko has a job as a student teacher in the Liverpool, Solvay, and North Syracuse School Districts; but State Police stress that none of his child pornography activity occurred during his educational assignments and no students are believed to have been the subject of any inappropriate contacts.
Basko has now been charged with three sex related felonies. He’s being held on $25,000 bail.
