Oneida County Man Nabbed After Shoplifting Incident

An Oneida County man is behind bars after a shoplifting incident that turned physical.

Rome Police were called out to the Rite Aid store on Black River Boulevard for a reported theft.Upon their arrival they learned that 22 year old Aaron Cronsier had stolen some property from the store and when a store employee attempted to stop him, Cronsier struck the employee and fled. 

The employee was not seriously hurt. Cronsier was taken into custody and was charged with Third Degree Robbery and he's being held in Rome lockup.
