Fire Union taking shots at Mayor Miner after Tuesday Morning Plow Fire

Syracuse, N.Y. – The local Fire Union is taking shots on Facebook at Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner after a plow caught fire this morning on West Street.

The plow caught on fire outside of a Fire Station 6 at the corner of West and Fabius Streets.

The post claims that the ‘the Mayor’s budget cuts’ left the house without a fire engine capable of combating the plow fire.

The plow caught fire shortly before 8 a.m. Fire crews were quickly able to douse the flames.

No word on the condition of the plows driver or how the fire started.
